I love command-line perl

If you read my blog on a regular basis, you've probably figured out that my favorite tool for performing general analysis and data manipulation is perl. Preferably, perl from the command line:

% cat data.dat | perl -e '...some code...' | less

Daniel Wesemann, one of the handlers at the Internet Storm Center posted a neato article on decoding traffic to uncover hidden executable content. And guess, what it uses??
